A Little About Us
From the moment we set foot on the Inn’s property in 2012, we sensed there was something special about this little place. On that warm May day, we were captivated by the smell of the pines, the gentle song of the river and the hum of the bumble bees. We knew that we would love to bring our family to stay at this kind of place, so why not make it available to other like-minded people?!
Since then, we’ve renovated guest rooms, improved essentials like water supply/internet, added landscaping, built a new deck, and even opened a restaurant! Our desire is for you to feel at home here so that you can relax, connect with family and friends, and experience the beautiful Adirondacks.

Pet Policies
We welcome well-behaved, non-barking, trained, and vaccinated dogs/cats in our Alpine Trail and Birch Bark rooms.
Please note – we are pet-friendly but not pet sitters! We prefer that your dog accompany you on your day’s adventures. Are Your Rooms Handicapped Accessible?
Due to the older style of our buildings, we are currently unable to accommodate guests who need wheelchair access. Future renovations include plans for an fully ADA Compliant room. For those with mobility issues, the following information is designed to help you assess if we are a good match for your needs:
You can enter our deck/office area via a ramp. Once inside, there are no other steps in the office or dining area. A public restroom is also available in this building (please note: it cannot accommodate a wheelchair).
A deck runs the entire length of the inn and there are either two or four steps with sturdy handrails up onto the deck depending on the location of your room. Once in the guest rooms, everything is on the same level except for our two kitchenette units which have one step from the kitchen area to the bedroom. Most of our rooms have a step in shower with only a small lip to retain the water. Four guestrooms have tubs that would require stepping over the side of the tub. These rooms are Serenade, Highland Meadow, Summit, and Morning Mist.
Our Daybreak room is located on the second floor in the Lodge building and requires climbing a full set of rather steep stairs.
Our parking area is gravel with minor dips due to variations in the ground. Although we keep it well-plowed, it is often snow-covered with icy spots during the winter months.
Because we don’t have 24 hour front desk service, our inn may not be the best fit for a solo guest with hearing or sight needs.
Please feel free to call Amy at 518-527-1155 to discuss your specific needs. We will do our very best to accommodate you.
